NAB Gallery is pleased to present BRADFORD HANSEN-SMITH, a show of geometric art by a master of shape manipulation and perception. For Bradford Hansen-Smith, "The symbol of the circle is used as metaphor for nothing and for everything, and endless parts between. The circle folded is not a symbol."

The objects in this show are made from folded circles, most of them from paper plates. There is no cutting or measuring, only proportional folding and joining. Folded circles are individual cells within the circle/sphere Whole.

"There is nothing arbitrary about folding circles. It is a dynamic process, a hands-on way to integrate ‘holistic thinking’ (thinking about the unity of everything) into a personal experiential demonstration."
